The Airopult will hold small/medium R/C model airplanes for which the distance from the rear of the undercarriage wheel struts to the front edge of the rear wings (C to B) do not exceed 1.2 metres and the rudder length is no more than 43 cm (A to B).
If your airplane is larger than this then it can be accommodated by using 2 extra extension arms which can be purchased from us for an additional €10 when you buy your Airopult or for € 15 when bought separately (because of additional p&p cost). Simply use the “Buy introducing amount” button when purchasing and enter the total sum payable.
The New Airopult PRO unit is designed for larger airplanes up to 1.8 metres from the rear of the undercarriage wheel struts to the front edge of the rear wings (C to B) and with rudders up to 58 cm in length (A to B).
Regarding the max engine size, during prototyping, many tests were undertaken to ensure the strength and durability of the Airopult. Martin Pickering the Spanish IMAC champion, offered to put his 3 metre 150 cc twin Boxer airplane within the Airopult and a series of full throttles were applied. Martin and other Club members were amazed with the results.
Furthermore, the Airopult has been independently bench tested, and that proved the Airopult could restrain up to 60 kg of thrust, without any signs of weakness.
